Key responsibilities

• Executing new potential supplier sourcing in low-cost countries and evaluating supplier’s capabilities and competences.
• Preparing RFQs for materials and equipment to be used in the projects.
• Evaluating engineering specifications and related documents in terms of procurement for new projects and communicate with suppliers.
• Reviewing and negotiating supplier quotations, including specifications, and concerns to bring suppliers onboard.
• Performing the supplier audits to meet the company’s standards.
• Coordinating with Business Unit teams and project teams involved in new project in terms of procurement and related supplier material supply requirements.
• Analyzing and implementing improvement plan with suppliers.
• Conducting annual cost reduction activities.
• Managing related purchasing/procurement documents and maintaining them in supplier database.
• Other related tasks as assigned.

Qualification

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field.
• At least 5 years’ experience in sourcing role and oversea product sourcing from China is highly desirable.
• Familiar with strategic sourcing steps.
• Experience in industrial products or electrical/mechanical materials or commodities.
• Good command of spoken and written English.
• Business level in Chinese (Mandarin) communication.
• Good comprehension of project management and ISO 9001.
• Good communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
